"Four of us went to Culebra to celebrate our friends Ed and Angela's anniversary. The Doll House was absolutely perfect for us. There were gorgeous views at sunset to be seen from the front porch and amazing sunrises from the deck in the back. We had access to a clean and fully stocked kitchen that came with all the amenities needed, fully stocked and really clean. We loved grilling on the deck out back and entertaining our friends.
One of the most favorite things that I did while at the Culebra Doll House was go over to Zoni Beach. This is where the locals hang out. You can see all the way to St. Thomas when it is clear out. I enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in the warm waters at this lovely and popular beach.
We rented a jeep from Jerry's Jeeps, I recommend him, he gives you this long involved introductory speech when you pick up your rental about the island, places to go, snorkeling spots etc. He also gives you this crazy looking self drawn map, but let me tell you his info is priceless. By the 2nd day we were referring to the map constantly and all of his little tips came in handy, he was awesome.
It was so wonderful to visit Culebra. The locals are so friendly and nice to you. It was surprising how many Americans are there who came on vacation and then stayed. Now that I have visited, I can see why they would. The food is delicious as well with a number of good local spots serving fresh produce and local flavor.
We went snorkeling as few of the beaches, each one offers different opportunities. But the real wonderful part is that the coral reefs near Culebra are healthy and teaming with life and fish. It was great to go each beach and experience different aspects of ocean life. We loved Flamenco the best but Carlos Rosario was one of the best experiences and you can just hike there from Flamenco.

"We just returned from a three-week stay at Casa
Azul, and loved every minute of it. Your property affords such beautiful views--we
couldn't have hoped for any better. And the house itself is very comfortable. We
especially enjoyed the two hammock swings on the front porch--we spent many mornings
reading in them, but only after taking in the sunrise views from the back deck.
The washer was an added bonus--we only used it once, but it was very handy.
Two more things to share with you: your information about the beaches was very helpful
to us, we referred to it often; and I'm not sure if Raquel at Vacation Planners
actually works for you or for a bigger company, but she is an absolute gem--we loved
her and she was extremely helpful with any questions or issues we had. She actually
loaned us a personal item or two to make our stay a little easier--I hope she is
being well compensated.
